45% of all electricity on Earth goes to electric motors - increasing to 60% soon with more EVs and heat pumps. But much of this is shockingly inefficient. QPT is re-inventing power electronics to solve that, creating a $multibillion TAM while dramatically reducing CO2 emissions.

Half the electricity in the world is used in motors, whether the motor in your electric car, or the lift to get you upstairs, or a huge AC unit or a factory. But people have not thought of these motors for yers and the way thry work has not changed much in 30 years. But there have been lots of new ideas and new technologies. In particular people have invented whole new types of transistors: QPT uses these new transistors to make the motors work better, use less energy, and create less waste heat. These transistors run very very fast (about 200 times faster than the old ones) which makes things much better.

Despite being a very small company, with very novel technology we have won ABB as a customer :)

So we sell beautiful things that are good for the planet, for animals and for us!

We're proud to have been selected as one of ChangeNow's 30 Seeds of Change, which proves the real eco-responsibility of our approach. But we're also proud of the fact that our design is so highly acclaimed, we've been contacted by Design Week in Milan and Venice to exhibit our work in 2024. Finally, Maison et Objet has taken us under its wing as an emerging designer. All this proves one thing: it's possible to make something beautiful and good!

Electric cars are too expensive to be a solution for this. We need a fast and scalable solution for these commuters to stop using their cars. HOW: By making suburban trains easy to use, fast and seamless to people who are too far to walk to railway stations. WHAT: Autonomous vans on demand to take commuters from their neighborhood to the railway station, non-stop, without the hassle of parking, traffic jams, or waiting a bus for hours.

We have been labelled by the Solar Impulse Foundation in 2024 for the 2nd time, thanks to the fact we can reduce suburban commuters' emissions by 99%.
